The VK2305 is a plug-in module of the VK2300 universal chassis. It provides communication path to all of the modules in the VK2300 chassis and all of the equipment in the network, including ML1D series of fiber optic video modules, EN150 series FTTH Ethernet modules, VK6300 series fiber optic modem modules, TM2 series fiber optic T1/E1 CSU/DSU V.35 Nx64 interface modules, and VK230 fiber optic fault tolerant self-healing data transceiver master/sub-master modules.

The Node Manager and Network Management Software is a Graphics User Interface (GUI) that is Windows based software providing a user-friendly menu on any standard PC. This module allows a network manager access to any connected node in the network. Node status monitoring and node management capabilities are now at your fingertips.

Vi-Link’s TCP/IP Network Software Module allows monitoring of the network through IP connection. The Com/Server provides multiple TCP Client and COM port support, such that up to 1024 nodes may be managed via 8 RS-232 COM ports, and up to 32 TCP clients may access COM/Sever simultaneously.

There is also available a SNMP software package. This module allows others network system software to access to Vi-Link’s equipment
