Vi-Link IL10 is an SFP to SFP Mode Converter/Repeater (OEO) designed to convert optical or electrical signals between two SFP modules. This unit provides a wide variety of optical and electrical conversions such as multimode to single mode, single mode to single mode (repeater), copper Ethernet to fiber, 3G HD SDI video to fiber, RS-232 or RS-422 data to fiber. It is the most convenient and cost-effective solution for converting classic equipment protocols into modern fiber optic applications. Distance between the two locations can be up to 80 km with a high-power laser optic SFP module.
The IL10 can accept all digital signals from DC to 1.25 GB or 3 GB from various communication devices through its SFP input and output ports such as GB Ethernet, 3G HD SDI Video, 2/4/8K HDMI video short range GB MM fiber link, SONET, SDH, FDDI, ESCON and … so on.
Applications include High-Speed Ethernet Networks, Large Data Center, Broadcasting Video productions, High-Speed Leased Fiber, 5G Telco, S Telco feeder, SCADA, SONET OC-1, OC-3, OC-12, OC-48, SDH STM-1, STM-4, STM16, DS3, E3, CEPT-1, FDDI, ESCON, HD-SDI, HDMI Video and many other standard or proprietary digital optical signals.
