The IL80-1315 is a 16-channel Fiber Optic Multimode/Single-mode to single-mode converter/repeater designed for real-time digital signal transmission. Its 160GB CWDM transporter allows for transmitting up to 8 independent channels. This cost-effective solution eliminates the need for new fiber installations, allowing users to maximize fiber capacity up to 16 times. Each channel can transfer up to 10GB of digital data to a new location, with a maximum distance of 50km. Additionally, the IL160-1315 features an optical repeater function, enabling its use for longer distances.

The IL160-1315 is compatible with a wide range of digital signals, including 1GB to 10GB signals from various communication devices. Its SFP input and output ports support 1/10GB Ethernet, HD SDI 3/6G Video, 2/4/8K HDMI video short range 1/10G MM fiber link, SONET, SDH, FDDI, ESCON, and more. The protocol-independent ports allow for easy reconfiguration of the network without needing to reconfigure the IL160. For example, switching from a 10GB Copper Ethernet I/O connection to a MM Optic 10GB Ethernet can be done simply by disconnecting the Copper Ethernet SFP from the IL160 and connecting the MM Optic Ethernet.
