Vi-Link Optical Mux equipment: The IL80 is a fiber optic 80GB CWDM transporter designed to transmit up to 8 independent channels in real-time digital signals transmission. This unique multiplexer is a cost-effective fiber expansion solution, without installing new fibers, the user can maximize fiber capacity up to 8 times with data transfer speeds of up to 10 GB of digital data per channel to a new location. The extension distance to the new location can be up to 80 km, however, it can be used for longer distance with its’ optical repeater function.
The IL80 can accept all digital signals between 1 GB to 10 GB from various communication devices through its SFP input and output ports such as 1/10GB Ethernet, HD SDI 3/6G Video, 2/4/8K HDMI video short range 1/10G MM fiber link, SONET, SDH, FDDI, ESCON and so on. Protocol independent ports enable users to re-configure an entire network without re-configuring the IL80. For example, a 10GB Copper Ethernet I/O connection can be changed to a MM Optic 10GB Ethernet simply by disconnecting the Copper Ethernet SFP from the IL80 and connect the MM Optic Ethernet to the IL80.
The extended temperature capability of the IL80 satisfies very critical applications requiring high quality video performance with high reliability.
